I am looking to buy this carb for my bike. I have found them new for just under £400 or on ebay for various prices second hand.

If I were to buy one that was from another bike would it fit my Suzuki DRZ? I assume it will be the same carb as they were also fitted to KTM's, Yamaha' and all sorts, or will mounting points etc be different?

Thanks for any help.

Only ever had experience of Mikuni. There are no bike specific mounting point on the carb simply because the same carb is used on many different bikes. The only work I've had to do generally relates to manifold size or very simple mounting brackets.

As above. can't see there being different mounting points as carbs are pretty much just mounted by the airbox and rubber going to the engine. I believe I have this carb on my CCM and I don't believe there's anything bike-specific about mine.

I thought you said you'd be happy with the power Razz Wink.

The power is enough, the fuelling however is fairly poor and there is the option to either re-jet the current Mikuni or replace it with the Keihin (which is considered a lot better), along with opening up the air box.

Having said that I might change the cams and get a big-bore kit as well! Razz
