Ok, my GPZ's got two throttle cables, push and pull. A while ago the decellerator cable snapped, so I replaced both as I daresay the accelerator wouldnt be to far behind.

Anyway, iv fitted the new cables (after TOO much fecking about, not keen on double cables) and got them adjusted so theres not excessive freeplay and the butterflys open fully, and revs dont rise or fall with handlebar movement.

Anyway, its almost running as good as before, when I twist the throttle obviously it returns quickly to 'neutral' position, but for some reason when its in this neutral position I can turn it 1-2CM the wrong way? this is my problem, what would cause it, decellerator cable too loose?

If the decellerator cable had an adjuster at the throttle end id test it quickly but it doesnt which means a tank off jobbie. Just want to be pointed in the right direction really Thumbs Up
