What is it with my bike? I never get one problem at a time its all or nothing. My bike decides it doesn't wanna start after work today so get a bump start from a nice bloke on a GT550. All good bumps ok, shouldn't really have a flat battery since its brands new as of 2 days ago, but nevermind. Get out of work across the first roundabout and it conks out again. This time I've got nothing the starter solenoid isn't even ticking!

Can't be the battery its brand new could be reg/rec, alternater dodgy wiring etc but now its getting dark. Call out the AA after having a nice chat with a man on triumph tiger and the AA man recharges the battery.

He then follows me home as he's told me to ride on side lights only - fun, fun, fun! Finally get near to my house and wave him off thinking all is good and I'm home free.... the throttle cable snaps! OH JOY! Eventually got home by pushing it the final distance. Thumbs Down

Oh and the chain fell off too - nearly forgot that

My sig is going to be liberally deployed on it tomorrow!

Anyone else have this problem or is it just me Question

Crap day man!

BTW, its jump starting when you charge batteries, and bump starting when you push along and pop into gear while moving to start it.

Two of those (chain and throttle) are just due to poor maintanence.

New bike syndrome eh

Time for some testing, hopefully its just en effed battery maybe it wasn't activated properly.
Cable snapped. Maybe your bike had been stored a while and the cables were dry
Chain slack..you have checked the nuts n bolts have you? Check them all. (Torque Wrench on the B'day list maybe)

Pat

Big Thumbs Up to helpful bikers
