I have spent quite a bit of dosh and time doing my MX bike up after its debut at the beginning of Jan showing its faults that needed adressing ...

Anyway, I have been gagging to get back out on it since, but EVERY weekend since both Cusses Gorse and Tonymoto have been closed due to track conditions/weather ... its getting on my nerves now ...

Anyone else suffering from the weather meaning no play?!?! Sad

Yup Thumbs Down

I wake up every morning with the sound intention of doing some more greenlaning, but it's the 15+mile ride to get there in this freezing weather that's putting me off.

Not quite the same as you're dilema but just as annoying i'm sure Sad

I haven't ridden for 8 weeks now. I came off just before Christmas and twisted my knee. That combined with the new year etc meant a few weeks off riding. Now my bike is in the shop having some work done on it. I'm gagging to get out riding.

On the plus side a few of us from here are going offroading in Spain at the beginning of March.

I haven't been out for ages myself either, but you shoulda got yourself a road-legal enduro, none of this wussy motocross stuff where they can't handle a little rain Razz.

First actual enduro I did had quite a few sections of pretty deep mud, including some that were maybe 50meters long all of which was half a meter deep mud!

But you still need somewhere to ride Wink

Unless you live 'up-norf" green laneing is almost non-existent these days ... and if you need an enduro track to ride, then surely you have the same problem? Thinking

Ok, it's only once a month, but there's 'Enduroland'. Maybe a bit far for you, but I think they let quiet motocross bikes out.
A decent lay out with lots of variation... just don't start passing people like you might on a motocross track Smile.

There's a few others dotted around; enduro tracks pretty much never stop for bad weather - getting bogged down or stuck is all part of the fun Smile.

There's enough green lanes around here that some can be found - been on a trip with the local TRF and went through a decent selection that aren't too far from here, some of which I've now got marked up.
