Hi all,

Well, I had a feeling it was going to happen.

My bike cover was stolen. Chained to a pole, they must have cut the loop of the cover the chain went through.

Cost me 40 quid! And it was such a great cover.

Hope the scum comes across an unfortunate incident.

But, I mean, a bike cover? One that would only fit a 125 or a Scooter. Why? Why? WHY?

I think I will have to do what the scooter rider near me does now, and chain my wheel to the pole.

Add: My bike was not there at the time. I just don't want to carry my cover around with me. But then again, they could have cut it from my bike anyway, if they were that desperate...which they probably are...

Id be more worried that they were scouting your bike for a later theft. Get it chained down and a cheap alarm fitted Thumbs Up

I came outside and was totally screwing the other day coz some slag had stolen my bike cover. I wa stamping up and down and throwing a right little temper tantrum.... Then i looked in the garden.

Like a true muppet i forgot to fix it to the bike properly...
Strong winds and a cover that was not attached to anything = cover in the bloody tree.. DOH!!!

I've done that a couple of times Laughing

Word of warning though - best to leave the cover off when it's crazy windy, even if it's also pissing down. In strong winds the cover can act as a sail and try to pull your bike over. Thumbs Down

I nearly found that out the hard way. thank god my alarm warned me. Looked out the window expecting to see my bike being stolen by some thieving TWOC'r tard.
All i see is my bike dancing from side stand to wheels.
Never moved so fast in my life.

Pick one:

- Taking the cover means they can come back a few days later for the bike, and not look as suspicious. Consider extra security.

- You have kindly done your bit to help the homeless, and some bloke now has a nice, waterproof, fabric lined cover to sleep under.
