Right.
Yet another thread by me.

The past few weeks, bits have been "falling off" my bike. Exhuast (front part) came off, somehow unbolted, bolts just randomly ending up on the car park floor behind our house. I put this down to having an import bike, they are [censored], they could fall apart.
Moving on - there is a small forecourt behind our house, we are in a closed estate, the courtyard holds 4 parking spaces and thats it. Both mine and my mothers bikes get left there quite often, we have a garage round the corner that we rent and use for longer storage (now permenant storage because of this) to get into the car park you drive through the estate and UNDER a flat, you would only really know its there if you knew the estate well or did some proper exploring. The only other way in is over a 6 foot high fence the other end of the courtyard, which backs on to a small footpath.

This morning my Dad came out to find a small slit in the bike cover over mums bike. I stayed at my girlfriends so my bike was not there. He took it off to investigate. The entire clutch had gone! The slit was small as well, so the guy knew what he was doing to get his hands in there in the pitch black and take the entire thing off and apart. The only evidence was a fingerprint and a bolt on the floor, and of course the slit in the cover.

Now it all adds up, the mysterious bits going missing. My clutch cable snapped once, I said to my Dad how it looked like it had been cut, but we thought, if somebody wanted to vandalize the bike they'd just kick it over right? Guess not. Also a week ago my back brake started to feel REAL loose as I pulled out of the street, I pulled over to find the linking bolt had gone! That is right, somebody is messing with our brakes too.

A number of things have happeend, and just imagine if I'd had not noticed the bike, its a very malicious act, and stealing a clutch lever? Why would you want to steal it? What purpose?

I want to know if this has happened to any of you guys and if anybody can give me any information whatsoever. My mothers bike is out of action, my fathers bike is also out of action due to spark plugs missing, they will both miss the Nov 2nd ride. Mine is the only one still on the road because I wasn't home last night. All bikes are locked in the garage now, with alarms. Working on getting CCTV up and running and the police are running an enquiry.
I'd just like to appeal for information.

Thanks,
Steve.

Nobody as far as I can tell?
Suspects in this are include, chavs and a guy with an ASBO who recently was in court for "kicking" somebody to the ground...
They are the most likely people, but... Chavs aren't THAT intelligent are they?

Why would either of them take the time to steal the clutch lever?
if they wanted to be cnuts they would just slash tires?
I cant see any reason why either of chavs or the bloke would want the part, maybe parts are being stolen off local bikes to order?

Your mum might have been having an affair and recently broke it off, or the other guy found out about your dad.

I jest, although, it would seem that someone who may have the same bike is treating yours/your mums as a parts bike Laughing

I've honestly no idea lol
Don't know who did it or for what purpose, thats whats being investigated. I'll keep everybody updated.
I'm thinking maybe they are stealing parts to order or something. I don't know, I mean I've not really noticed being followed home by a car or anything. Its fucking annoying though.

Something that may help is knowing what your mums/dads bikes are.

As in is it a common bike?
Rare bike (this be more if parts are stolen to order)
if common could just be some scrote has crashed and is stealing one for his... Laughing

Me thinks you should start 'trapping' your bike ie he is stealing the parts through a slit then sew in some razor wire into the edges of of the hole....

cover the razor wire in dog turd and the person who gets cut gets gangrene off the wound.

Possibly the most simple method is to sew a pocket into the slit in the bike cover and fill the pocket with lye.

Mums is a Honda 600 of some type, nothing special I don't think?
Mines a bloody import bike for god sake =p
you'd find better shite at the tip.
I think it's just stealing for the sake of stealing.

My flat mate has a Ducati Monster, the first shop across the road from where we lived (Bike Business portsmouth) had a similar monster for sale with termi exhausts. They left it out one night I assume there wasn't any room in the shop, but why they left the Duke out I will never know. It was far from a nice area next to a kebab shop and only 50 meters or so from 2 pretty ruff pubs. anyway if we had less scruples we could have nicked what was probably about a grands worth of exhaust. I'm pretty sure there was only a jubelee clamp and a bolt holding each on.

Right guys - Update.

I'm 80-90% I know who it is, just about to ring the police and hand in his details. I've been tipped off by some local chavs I sweet talked, apartnly they knocked on somebodys house asking if they had a spare clutch lever the same night, and then they found mums bike. Little fucking scrotes they are.
One is 15 one is 16, the 15 year old has already been tried in court for assault. I'm having none of it, he threatened me once when I was about Exmouth and I had the back up of friends, told me just try it!
Just a coincidence I run into this fucker again.
Any idea what we should do? Break his fucking face the cunt.
Appartnly my mothers clutch lever has been put on his little motorbike, which will soon be trashed Twisted Evil
This little cock apartnly boasted to his chav friends about loosening my breaks, saying "that blue 125er is gonna be daed within a month". I cannot put into words how angry I am, if this guy walks past the house right now....

I'm just looking for photos (to send to forums & papers) and full name and address etc. Will keep you posted.
- Steve.

I did once get oil on my brake discs too brown pants moment there too...

Oh I'm sorry I appear to have gone completely off topic I thought we were discussing CSI Wink ....

I apologise profusely!

Little fecker!!!!! You and your dad should throw him in ya garage, chain him to the wall and tickle him, yes, TICKLE HIM until he pisses himself, while filming it. Put the vid on youtube but keep him in the garage and keep making humiliating vids of him pissing and shitting himself, you could also go a little further and hire a gay prostitute to come and attend to his rear end, obviously getting it all on film, again put it out on tinternet where all his mates will see and his family too - job done Laughing

A good humiliation is far better than giving him a good kicking but you would be well within your rights to do that too Very Happy

Note: no offence intended to anyone of a homosexual persuation or anyone that actually pisses themselves when being tickled Razz

Yeah, I've heard of this happening a lot round my way, but mostly to scooters. They're so popular in London now that arseholes can make a lot of money by stealing certain parts and selling them on.

Hope the fuckers get what they deserve.

See I know who it is, im 98% certain.
This local chav, he was even in the paper for assualting people.
Yet nobody wants to help me =p
My Dad talks the talk but is too scared to walk the walk for fear of the police nabbing him instead, very likely I must admit.

But if its done right...
I know where the guy lives, and I wouldn't mind paying his bike a visit at 3am, perhaps his clutch lever might "Fall Off" and my mums bike might be back on the road Rolling Eyes Very Happy
