Armed robbery in my town.

Im not to shocked anymore tbh.

The robbers robbed a HSBC bank a gun point and burned there car out behind my house Shocked

my towns gone to the shitter used to be a nice place to live but full of scruffy robbing bastards now. still a few decent people left but not many.

ive had my scooter robbed £500 quid damage ! not to bothered i know who did it and they will be delt with. 3 push bikes stolen worth close to a grand all together.

house's recently have been getting robbed police presence in the town has increased alot.

and now an armed robbery.

its a shame its another once nice town recked

about time the punishment for robbery was increased.

Shoplifting: Lose a finger
Burglary: Lose a hand
Car Theft: Lose a leg (Right leg first)

At least then they'd only manage to rob 2 houses :p

Just because there's been an armed robbery it doesn't make the area bad, the scum will travel to a nice area because security is a lot laxer and people won't be expecting it. Most petrol stations for example in the rougher parts of Birmingham have bulletproof glass all around the counter, travel a bit and they don't, which would you rob?

Robbing a bank these days is a bit silly though isn't it, they don't have any money, if they do it's probably yours anyway Wink

Indeed, garage about 4 miles from mine still had the bullet holes in it for a few weeks after a robbery, plus when the one down the road form me used to be 24hr we got friendly with the guy on night shift when we'd pop there at 3am with munchies. One night told us he was giving up because having another shotgun jammed in his face was the one that broke the camels back. Then there was the MacDonalds over the road from said garage that had 4 balaclaved men rush in at around tea time and shove guns in the staffs faces.

Of course, when the Rover plant closed down and the shops went out of business an such they musta pissed off somewhere worth robbing because it;s relatively quiet round these parts now.

It isn't breaking news, but it's current affairs - state of the country post. Still it shows how much the town had gone down hill, as petty crime has risen dramatically, as has vehicle theft around here.

Harder punishments need to be handed out, might stop people from committing crimes in the first place. Instead a slap on the wrist is more the more likely punishment. Reform is needed
