When something like this occurs (Cancer / Death / Extreme Suffering / etc) ... it becomes more 'base'.
ie: to an extent it doesnt matter what she has done around race / bullying etc ... its now at a different level (base) and its quite sad.

1) Sad for her as she will miss out on seeing her children grow up (she may be a bullying cow - but she is a mum that loves her kids) .... the thoughts in her head of not seeing her kids are much much worse that some racist comment or bullying action.

2) Sad for her kids as they will lose a mummy ... dont need to elaborate further on that really.

Summary:
She is an ugly, bullying, self absorbed racist .... but she doesnt deserve this and its sad.
It makes me sad to read it.

Like SoND said she isn't racist, rather thick. I disliked her before the Shetty incident, a poor excuse for celebrity status.

TBH i've seen far more racist comments on this forum than from her. Though she is in a role model position and thus should have had more common sense, but as said she was lacking.

I won't be sad to see her go, however I would have preferred it would have been by disappearing into the wilderness. Cancer is not a nice way to die. I feel sorry for the family really.

personally i don't like her or anything she stands for, to me she is the epitome of how a no-one can make it through luck instead of hard work in this country, along with kerry katona.

However, i feel for her family having to face the prospect of her dying no-one deserves to lose a loved one in this way regardless of how they have acted in the past.

Ive seen bits and bobs of her on tv since, and she actually seems like a decent person with family values very high on her list.

I think its a horrible thing to find out, and i hate the thought of anyone having such a horrible disease. It must be terrible for her to live with this.

I dont like her but I wouldnt wish cancer and death on her. I believe in that thing called karma, maybe after her ways she got the karma back bad. But I wouldnt wish it on anyone. I thought a few months ago she was suppose to be dead by now? same as Patrick Swazey had 3 months now he is still alive and has years left. I am not sure if the media make it worse than it is. Cancer is bad enough but I suspect they like to take a few years off her life for a story.
I think she does have cancer they have professionals talking about her on tv that you hope wouldnt lie anyway about her condition. I do wish she wouldnt do stories but then again they seem to help some people who have had cancer or have it reading other peoples stories. (maybe not this one that she will die)

Patrick Swayze is doing very well, but I think the general consensus is that it is a matter of when not if he dies. Which is sad really, but pancreatic cancer is one of the worse cancers you could have.

Even tho she has annoyed people to some extent this is quiet a sad story.
When she started to plaster the big 'C' all over the paper it did annoy me a bit.
1000's of people have Cancer but they dont get special treatment.
Because she has young children, who she wont see grow up - and the young ones living without a mum is rather emotional.
I remember my best friends mum died of cancer when we were 8 or so. It really was a fucked up time.
