passed it this morning at about quarter past 11 Very Happy

ive got it done quite quickly i think i did my theory test 3 and a half weeks ago, did my CBT just over 2 weeks ago and did 2 full days training on monday and tuesday. Then i took my test today and passed with 1 minor for not doing an adequate lifesaver on a left bend (left it a little late).

so i just need to get around to breaking the news to my mum who said no to doing anyhting with a bike, actually she said no about 50 times then got mad lol.

happy days. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

oh and by the way i highly recomend riverview rider training which is ewhere i did my test at, great instructors.

I was nearly 30 before I took my first CBT because my parents had been dead set against it after my Brothers crash.

In the end I took it and then called Mum to tell her, she was so grateful I called that she took the news pretty well. PM me her number and I'll pacify her for you.

Mind you eight years on Dad still makes comments every time he lays eyes on the bike.

lol. my mum didnt want me to get a bike so she helped me out with learning to drive. Once i knew i was going to move away to uni I just went out and did my CBT and got myself a 125 to ride around to get some good riding skills for my real test. now she isnt really that bothered. she even wanted me to get a bigger bike! said my 125 was too slow. which is true considering i would have been doing 200miles of motorway journeys every few weeks on a 125.
A fair few people in my family have been riding bikes so i know where i get the love of bikes from. Sadly they are all a bit too old to be riding bikes now which means i can't go riding with them which is a shame
