Phoenix 200 cc

In my attempts to buy a sporty bike for the beginner. i have come across all sorts of designs and makes. the latest one i came across is a PHOENIX 200cc. This is a nice looking bike but has anyone ever used this, rather unkown brand. Or, does anyone know of someone who has ever used this bike before. Infact, does anyone know of anyone, who knows someone, who's heard or...........

It looks tiny a la CBR125.

It's also Chinese, so build quality and longevity aren't likely to be it's strong points.

The only new 250cc sports bikes are the Ninja and the Hyosung GT125R as far as I can see. Both are expensive. Even the Hyo usually fetches about £2K second hand since the 250s are thin on the ground, unlike the 125s (same bike with a 250 engine).

If it were me unless you find a Hyo 250 at a cheap price buy an old 400. There seems to be plenty about.

It's a pity there isn't much sporty looking available between the huge power gap from 125 to 600.
