Obvioulsy he had a phone call regarding something he had to pay for, a forgotten bill or something. I doubt he was buying your house without your knowledge.

If you were bothered you should have had the balls to tell him to get of your wall.

When you weren't looking, he sneaked inside your house, stole you bank details (along with obvious card that was placed on top of statement) and has now stolen you identity.

The reason for standing outside for so long is that your neighbours get used to seeing him around and won't think it weird when he starts appearing more and more around the area.
