Having seen some stuff about knee-downs and hanging off, and the debate about the best way to corner, I've started to shift my arse about more on the seat through corners.

I am by no means pulling any insane lean angles, but it *feels* a lot better cornering. I've been shifting half-a-cheek on the seat and I don't know why, but the whole cornering experience feels more positive.

Dunno if it's a psychological thing, or if it is actually making a difference to the physics of the bike.

it's a more natural position because it keeps the bike upright since your centre of gravity is shifted lower and towards the corner which means less effort and less lean... can't be bothered to explain the physics of it, but yes, even half an arse cheek and dropping your shoulders into the corner, putting more weight to the inside has a positive effect on cornering. You can take the same corner at the same speed with less lean, OR you can go quicker through the same corner by applying more lean .. if that makes sense to you.
