with the summer months fast approaching and days of glorious sunshine im thinking a clear visor with dark pinlock insert or a dark visor with clear insert
reason i ask is im dubious about a clear visor/dark insert as there will be a clear peice still showing around the edge if u know what i mean
what do u guys think?

I have both a dark and clear visor with pinlock, the pinlock is clear.
I have seen people use dark pinlocks on clear visors but there is a clear edge that would put me off.

The clear bit round the outside has never been a down side on mine and never affected my riding as far as I'm recall anyways?

A dark visor would look 'cooler' but for what the pinlock does I'm happy to compromise for a clear visor and dark insert.

I've got a dark visor and a pinlocked clear visor with clear and dark inserts. The clear space around the dark insert does get annoying as invariably that's where the sun is shining from. It didn't take me long to wish I'd just bought a pinlock kit and pinlocked my dark visor.

I had a naughty moment * Rolling Eyes and bought the dark tinted pinlock racing insert that covers to the top of my clear visor for the days when I know I'll be coming back in the dark and don't want to carry 2 visors. Otherwise I have a normal clear pinlock that I use in both my clear and tinted visor. I notice when I swap between the two but I do get used to it.

* It does say for track use only so I'm guessing I'd be in trouble if I had an accident and it was deemed to be due to my pinlock! Shocked
