Should be alright unless you get an incredibly arsy copper.

Watch out though because as mentioned, the stick on ones often lose grip and fly off.

If the copper was being a real arse they could do you for it as you are supposed to have the L-plates as close to vertical as possible.

My CBT instructor said to me as vertical as possible but I'm sure that's just advice and not an actual law. Check in the highway code.

I had mine in simmular place after seeing it on the net. I could clearly see it, but hidden by wheel if you were close behind, not right size, never got pulled, even witht the small # plate. Sold after my test.

I never got pulled for it, the ony reason i was pulled is my (careless driving) filtering on the outside is heavy trffic around a corner, that i do every day safely but i think he just wanted out of the traffic.

Mentioned it but did nothing, also mentioned my tax disk was wrongly possition, it was on swing arm and he said it should be INFRONT OF RIDER ON THE LEFT. he was picking

At least hes made an effort.

You can try sticking a floppy rubber one (matron) off the bottom of your numberplate like a plastic one... I saw a guy with it like that yesterday, I'd imagine anything that it hit would just cause it to flap and not snap.
