that certainly doesn't look like 122mph

can't it be worked out by calculating the time it takes to pass the strips in the road if you know how long the strips are and the gaps between them (or something like that)

Speed = Distance / Time yeah Wink

Saw this on the news the other day, and 6 months jail is absolute nonsense. The way they describe the kid 'clinging on for dear life' is ridiculous. My Dad used to take me on the bike at that age and go over 'the magic ton' It's just a great feeling when you do it for the first time and I regularly give a pillion the thrill of the ton but on roads that I know will be safe enough.

It's just car drivers getting a chance to have a dig at the bikers again Thumbs Down

It has been deduced from the road markings that he was probably doing around 117mph, so still fast enough to attact plod's attention, but hardly the OMG!WTF? situation portrayed by the meeja.

That said, two points stand out from the case:

a. Whoever advised him to plead guilty to dangerous driving should be sharing his cell.

b. Regardless of his plea, he deserves jail time for turning into a whiney biatch blaming everything else for making him go too fast.

this is all bullsh*t, so one guy kills some one and gets off with 'exceptional circumstance' when another had chance to but didn't and gets jail time. our country needs a good shake down.

what with the credit crunch, gordon brown being completely inept and the fact where being squashed and squeezed by all her her majestys finest (HMRC, PC PLOD< Scameras etc etc) Middle Finger Middle Finger

don't you guys think its time for a good old british revolt! we should overthrow parliament.

that would be great but after writing this im moving swiftly from the computer, ill proberbly get jailed for 'High treason' or something rediculous.

screw this country, aint aint the country i used to know and love, anymore! Sad

I can remember relatives saying that in the 70's. Laughing

Rant all you like about the labour peer getting let off, I won't stop you. In fact I probably agree with you.

However it is a completely seperate event from the speeding biker.

Just the same as when you flip a coin ten times you have ten individual events with no actual connection.
