Our cleaner just came in to the office and started ranting about people on motorbikes being reckless and unskilled road users that can't drive cars! Evil or Very Mad . Typical cager type statement dont you think.
This is probably a waste of forum space but this is the only place i can get it off my chest without getting fired!

All the best

Gareth

Better watch out or you might get fired for ranting about stuff at work Rolling Eyes

Hope you had a rant back at them, riding a bike requires so much more skill than driving a car!!

Maybe he had a reason for ranting like chavs almost smashing into him or something?

This probably sounds awful but while she is on her pedestal about bikes you might want to point out that it takes a bit more skill to ride the bike than mopping the floor does too.

Would work better though of she wasnt somehwre near a hundred years old and had some career aspirations Twisted Evil

It does sound awful, why take the piss out of her current employment? Give her a bit of stick for her comments but don't take the piss out of her for getting of her arse and going to work. Besides that it does take a fair ammount of skill to mop a floor properly.

If the old dear wants to shout her mouth off and give you grief you have two options, grin and nod or give her a little back!

I honestly wouldnt say that to an old lady though, it was tongue in cheek. Thumbs Up

At 77 its remarkable that she still has the aspiration to even mop floors. When she was your age, society probably did not give her the ability to aspire to jobs where she would still be a high-flyer in her late 70s.

Rolling Eyes

Little old ladies are well known from grumbling.
She probably just had some pedboi giving it large on her way into work.

Get over it and don't take it personally.
It would be a waste of a good rant.

77 and she still cleans?? She must never leave, at that age she probably finishes one end of the office just in time to start again back at the other.

The rant probably came from her reading that thing in the Independent about how cyclists should declare war on bikers during her 5 minute break...

If thats the case, I suppose gazzeh should be thankful that at least she doesn't read the Daily Mail instead.
