Not so long as it isn't blowing out places it shouldnt be blowing from. Doesnt matter what it looks like.

No unless its blowing , an MOT tester CAN fail it on excessive rust but I've yet to have a bike fail on one the dominator I had was seriously rusty but it was all just surface rust, if you are concerned about it hammerite over it , hammerite will go hard and flake off after a few weeks.

Seen worse.

Start it up and stick your hand over the end to block it. Does it stall? If it does then all is well.

Wouldn't that just be covering it up though... it would make the exhaust more sturdy would it?

It can be pitted with rust, but as long as it's not blowing, it will pass. Even then, small amounts of blowing are allowed.

Ever seen a car exhaust from the underside? Most that are more than a few months old are pretty rusty. Besides, yours is immaculate compared to my work hack and that got MOT'd about a month or two ago!

I've had much rustier exhausts pass with not even a mention! As long as it's not blowing you'll be reet.
