Now i don't know much about bike parts and what's good and what's bad (apart from Chinese, i know for fact, just about all their stuff is junk) Since my Bandit is a 1996 model, i will need to keep on top of things maintenance wise.

I know the basics, the oil changes, the oil to use and cleaning and lubing a chain, but as it gets more mechanical, i get dumber Embarassed

If fellow Bandit owners could tell me what i should be keeping an eye out for, what mileage certain things can play up at, and what are the best brake pads etc.. that i could use?

I plan on really looking after my Bandit and keep it looking and running as best as it can.

I'd appreciate any help Thumbs Up

Cheers Karma

Hi

Strip and clean the brakes occasionally, and then bleed them through properly. Keep on top of doing this to the rear caliper especially as the pins locating the pads have a habit of seizing in place and are pigs to get out.

Occasionally strip and grease the rear suspension linkages.

All the best

Keith
