I need a new tyre on the back of my CG125 (1991).

I am looking at a 90/90 - 18 for size. Internet research throws up tyres by Cougar, Michelin, Roadrider, Maxxis, Pirelli.

What thoughts do you have?

The most sensible thing to do is to go for one of the big brands, Pirelli know how to make a good tyre!! Thumbs Up

That said, put the cheapest sh1te you can find on there ...

On a small capacity bike it makes no odds. I've had lots of small capacity bikes and have always put a cheap and nasty tyres on them, do the job, lasted forever anyway as the bikes are so light!! ... the only thing you need to be mindful of with cheap 'nylon' tyres is that they are a bit carp in the wet ... nothing to worry about, you just need to consider it and ride accordingly!! Thumbs Up
