I heard on talksport the other night at work that the government has sent £30 million to Gaza as they need aid.

Not a loan but given.

The management at LDV were denied a LOAN of the £30 million to buy the company from the russian owner and make green cars/vans etc.

How can the government at a finacial time like this throw £30 million quid at a foreign country for free but deny a british company in need a loan?

I agree with what they were saying on the radio that aid should be given by those who WANT to give it, we are mentally taxed through the nose and have no say in where it goes, I personally would like our tax money to stay in Britain for now, surely at a time like this charity starts at home?

Sorry if I am wrong in what I have written and if its been discussed before but I am hoping someone can explain the governments actions, ie- WHY?

Cheers

Andy

Green cars as in less polluting? That would clash with the agenda of carbon tax we need the standard C02 machine for that and it would also stimulate the real economy which no matter what you hear them say is not on the agenda..grapes any one?

In effect it is a bribe,

Politicians are humans , and thus by enlarge greedy and selfish , they give money away like that as a bribe, you can bet most of that 30 million will vanish off into people's pockets.

Ie it will be distributed via the UN which people scrape off some profits , Carry on Henry had a scene like this where the intial bribe was 1000 gold pieces demanded , as it went through each intermediary it doubled until it got to Sid James (Henry) where it was 10,000 gold pieces.

Politicians know they will not be in office forever , therefore they move things around to give in effect bribes using tax payers money to secure themselves jobs and positions for when they leave office.

Gordon Brown is giving billions of tax payers money to the banks , not because he wants to save them or save jobs but because when he leaves office he will completely by coincidence be given a consultancy job by a bank worth millions...

Its a case of I scratch your back you scratch mine.

LDV vans obviously has not given the government ministers a sweet enough bribe back and thus they have been ignored.

If you think of it like that EVERYTHING suddenly makes sense.

Ie Blunket was totally pro ID cards as he was a director of a firm who would provide ID card tech.

Labour wanted to give F1 racing a cig advertising repreieve but only when they were bribed £1 mil.

Thus the 30 mil is just a bribe, in that if Gordon doesn't get a job with the banks he will get a job at the UN like Blair. Less than 10% of the 30 million will reach Gaza.

There's also the aspect that politicians like to be 'Big Boys' on the political world stage, and making free with large amounts of wonga says "My country's still a big player, and I'm a big player with authority within it."

Or otherwise known as self-serving criminal scum filth and vermin.

It's probably even more self-serving than that Hetz - as I suspect it's a case of trying to secure the Muslim vote in the UK.
