Hi. Would like to know if anyone has any idea of solution to the problem I have with the mechanical speedo on my bike,drz 400,or if its just a matter of going out and buying a different worm gear hub for the front wheel.After changing the off road wheels to road wheels the speedo shows me doig about 140mph,probably coz wheel is smaller.an spins faster,what is the best and cheapest solution. Any info would be great.

If you've put supermoto (17") wheels on your bike you will need to go get the DRZ400 [SM] speedo drive mech.

I had the same problem, when i put the 17" on the DRZ400s last year. If the speedo is reading that on the 21" trail bike wheel then it a problem with something else. Thumbs Up
