How would you pronounce this child's name? Le-a (written just like that)
Leah?? NO
Lee - A?? NOPE
Lay - a?? NO
Lei?? Guess Again
It's pronounced 'Ledasha'. Oh yes...you read it right.
This child attends a school in Livingston Parish, LA. Her mother is irate because everyone is getting her name wrong. SO, if you see something come across your desk like this, please remember to pronounce it correctly.
When the mother was asked about the pronunciation of the name, she said,
"The dash don't be silent"

That can't be true!

I know someone at work who's name is spelt Aine, yet is pronounced

Arnya.

Am I going mad or should it be spelt differently, then again I've never seen Arnya written down before. Maybe I should just get back in my box. Embarassed

Why do people (especially Americans) insist on giving their children such ridiculous fucking names?

All these Jets, Cruises, Ocelots, Lathes, what the hell is wrong with Tom Dick and Harry?

I had a next door neighbour who was called Jet.

His surname was Black....

I was dissapointed when he didn't call his son Matt.

Moonie, you're on some dangerous territory here with the gaming geeks. Please be careful insulting the name Ocelot.

Coolest name. Ever. Fap.
