I've removed about 30 alarms so far, mainly because they fail and take the bike down with them.
On most alarms, you will only need to remove two links to get the bike running, the CDI ignition splice and the starter motor current drain. Firstly, depending on how well the alarm is fitted, look at the wiring to the CDI, you will find that one of the wires is cut and two of the black alarm wires are joined to eiterh cut end. Remove these wires and rejoin the original. Then look at your starter relay, is there a single wire going to the relay? If so, remove this wire and wrap the end in tape.
You should now have a running bike, if you want the alarm completely removed, let me know, I should be able to put the bike back to original condition in an hour or so, if you're ever in the Southampton area that is.
Cheers

They get to a ravine, the bridge is down and a caption pops up that says, 'What are you thinking?'. I don't know about you but I was thinking, 'Christ, I'm glad I'm not in the f***ing army'. |
