Thinking of selling my Suzuki SV650s but unsure what she is worth in this current climate ... help

SV650s 54 plate in black
OEM hugger
OEM belly pan
OEM seat cowl
R&G crash bungs
Fabbri double bubble tinted screen fitted
Original screen thrown in
Tail Tidy
Scottoiler
Alarm
Datatag
Datatool Alarm
Akropovic exhaust system
Not even 5k miles on clock
6 months tax
10 months MOT

Always been garaged, had been out in the wet but has been cleaned after each ride so is sweet Mr. Green

I do not know if it is worth keeping hold of her for a bit longer or just letting her go, what do you think she is worth guys?

Thanks for your help

Shell xx

About 100 quid.

I'll give you 150.

Quids in!

Thanks.

Cleaned after each ride? Fucking hell. You either clean too much or don't ride the bike often enough.

Cheers she is well looked after I have to admit, my first bike. But I simply am not using her and do not see I will use her this summer for work commitments. She gotta go Crying or Very sad be a waste her sitting in the garage when she could enjoy the open road

If you have the standard parts, refit them and sell the tarty bits on ebay. You will make more that way.

A quick check on autotrader gives anything from £2.5 to £3K

Might be better to take the advice and sell the extras and replace with std bits.
With all the bits, its still only worth what the buyer is prepared to pay.

Everythin fixed, only thing that you can see in the pic is the link pipe. Damaged parts were lowers (removed) exhaust (new one fitted) clutch lever (new one), mirror (new one fitted), break lever (new OEM fitted), bar ends (news on fitted) - was only a small off at low speed so wasnt bad at all, cosmetic which is all back as was.

Any sorry 1500 is out of the question thats just an insult to Zuky Sad

I'm not so sure, maybe deoends on the bike, or who is interested?

I bought my MT-03 last september, put over 2000 miles on through winter. It had 800 miles on the clock when I got it, and it was mint - never seen rain, salt etc.

I put those miles on it, salt took hold on a few small areas....I paid £3000 for it, sold it yesterday for £3200....

It's all about whos interested Thumbs Up

Hi

Not sure now is the best time to sell, but unless you need the money I would be tempted to keep it. Buying something else in a year will probably cost you more. Sure you might not use it much this year but I am sure you will use it a bit. Even if it is to just commute a sometimes for a change.

All the best

Keith

Keep it for at least a couple more months and wait for summer to push the prices up. As you're not looking to buy another bike, you'll not suffer through the new bike being more expensive as well. The bike isn't going to do anythign other than appreciate as summer arrives.

Cheers

Grim
