Whats the deal with evening trackdays? how many sessions do you normally get and what time do they normally run from/to?

They are about £45 in May/June at Snetterton, they say its two groups so I guess inters would be split between the novice and fast groups??

I did a full day recently and that was two groups 30mins on then 30mins off which was a bit too much tracktime for me, I was knackered by lunchtime. But don't really wanna waste my time doing an evening if you only end up with a couple of 20 min sessions.

normally they start from 5pm onwards and I have been told from people doing them that you can normally get round 3-4 sessions depending on how many crashes and how much daylight you have. Also tend to run 2 groups.

for normal day event its usually 3 groups in the summer but in the winter can be 2 groups if not many people are doing the day so more track time. but as you say sometimes thats more than enough as most people will be exhuasted after 4-6 sessions anyways.

3 sessions is fine if you already know the circuit but not so great if its brand new to you. I'd love to be close enough to attend evening trackdays, sounds win win to me.

Yeah I'm only 20mins from Snetterton which is handy, but it also means I'm a few hours from any other track.

I'll try an evening session and see how it goes, I might find it a bit hard to concentrate after a full days work.
