I know this might be an almost impossible thing but are there any good riding roads in/near London? The nearest thing I know to country roads are Enfield Confused and they're just normal roads with trees on the side Laughing

If you live in London you might as well ride an Enfield.

Here's a hint: Get out of the big smoke and away from the M25 and you'll find something better than just boring urban roads and slow urban dual carriageways.

I can reccomend West Berkshire and Oxfordshire which is only an hour down the M4 and has some cracking roads. I'm not just saying that because I live there... well, maybe I am!! Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Where in London are you?

Come east as far as Upminster / Cranham there's some good roads through there

Go South and ride through from Bromley into Reigate via the back roads, they're pretty good

Further south and get down out past Orpington / Chelsfield - some excellent roads around there

That A507 towards Hitchin is the road where it's at.

If your on a 125, head right at Buntingford roundabout for some smaller roads Thumbs Up
