Hi as my topic says,im thinking of doing a px with a guy through ebay who has a 2000mille with 9000miles on the clock looks pretty mint from pics but who knows!!???

is it due a huge service at 10k???he had a buy it now price of 2800 seems a bit steep as its not a r just plain mille.

anything i suld look at or ask about the bike before i travel 150 miles to have a look?any common problems??

i will be commuting on the bike about 30miles a day.

my bike is a triumph tt600 52plate fsh with lots of extra like spare swing arm xenon lights rare seat cowell stubby pipe plus orig double bubble screen plus orig two huggers.sound like a fair swap??

cheers for any advise sorry for dragging the post out

Hi, certainly sounds good from your end, but I wouldn't be happy if I owned the Aprilia.

I struggled to get £2200 for my 04 Daytona 600, so for a TT600, I'd expect about £1500.

Parkers guide here for a bit of an example. Rarely do bikes get the 'good' price unless they're special in my experience.

If it's a 2000 Millie it'll be the first shape, also not being an R puts it's price down again. I paid £3500 for my 2002 Millie R last November, same year normal RSVs are a few hundred less again, and with his being the first shape it's probably worth a lot less again. Mine had 12k miles on it.

Major service (valve clearance) is every 9k miles, so he should have had it done, check for reciepts though!

That said it's a cracking bike, the motor is fantastic.
