For those that are arsed, although I'm sure you're getting sick to the back teeth of threads like this by now.

A few from Silverstone from Friday. A few seriously cool cars out there, I guess the serious boys are coming out now it's near the start of the season.

With the above shot I was trying to white out the background completely, and meter for the shadow of the bridge. The shadow wasn't quite dark enough to manage it unfortunately.

Being silly with a 1/20 shutter speed in the above. Well it was worth a go.

Well since the shutter only opens for 1/25 of a second it's not out of sight for very long.

I guess you're trying to do it it witha Fuji compact? With those you press the button, they focus, analyse the scene then open the shutter.

Whereas SLR's just open the shutter instantly. So I only lose sight of it for 1/25 of a second instead of the 0.5 second and upwards you would on a compact.

Using a sports mode is your best bet with a compact to get usable shots.

I could have linked big ones from flickr, but what's the point, the site will only resize them, and it loads much faster this way.

1024 x 768 image, see what I mean about the resizing, makes the image look really choppy too.

I have added a great paint effect off vignetting and also done some very subtle HDR on your picture. All you need is a big logo so everyone knows that you took these and no one else can take credit for your pictures.

On a more serious note, nice pictures. Not worth putting the big ones directly on this forum as it squishes them and makes them look awful. Maybe put thumbnails on, however its more pratting arround and often I can't be bothered either!
