Hi all just noticed I have a puncture on my bike. Can you simply repair them like a car tyre or is this not the case?
Cheers

I believe it depends whereabouts on the tyre the puncture is.

If the wall of the tyre is punctured, then its time for a new tyre I'm afraid, however, if you have just had a nail in the tread part of the tyre, it is possible to have it plugged. Take it to your local tyre fitters, they should be able to advise you more.

It depends on the rating of the tyre too - I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to repair Z rated tyres any more...

Think it OT because it should be in the workshop section, though it does help answer the question I had in there, must be something on the roads today.

Punctures are more frequent in the rain due to lubricating action of the water helping the sharp thing to penetrate. Bummer!
