Been down D&K today to get my ECU remapped, while I was there I had a word with Andy at the Services department.

If I can organise a good bunch of you ( I'll be posting this thread on 8 forums that I frequent ) He's going to make a proper day of it, he'll get the press down, organise some Bennetts babes, discounts, and give away various prizes for the best bike of the day, highest power run etc. , but he'll need to sort out what they are depending on the number of people. The prizes will be something like an exhaust system, new set of tires, a service etc.

I've done a deal with him, If you can get 20 people or more then he'll do a power run and a printout for£15!
If you want your ECU remapping, power commander setting up, or any other tuning then that will be extra depending on what you require.

It will be a good day, they have the usual burger van and plenty of refreshments. and also the new Showroom which will be opening soon showcasing the latest 2009 models as well as many others.

So, PLEASE only reply if you are a YES for this event. As I will be printing off all the posts and showing him to see how many will be turning up.

cheers
Glyn

Could be interested, so put me down as a yes depending on the date.

Think the YSR will top 6hp this time?

All the best

Keith

Hi

I would turn the headlight off this time. Should be worth 0.1hp.

All the best

I was down DK today picking up some parts for the 10R.

I would be a yes depending on how soon it is, as the bike is still looking very sorry for itself.

Jammy bastard! I have seen a bike cop roaming the streets of Shelton/Fenton this morning actually.

Do you know what sort of date the dyno day is likely to be? I'll probably have mine back on the road in 2 weeks, but might of lost my license! Just waiting to see if I get a NIP. If I do I'll be banned for 6 months! Crying or Very sad

Erm isn't DK motorcycles supposed to be (or used to be) BCF enemy number #1 ? , after selling a cut n shut ringer motorcycle which got the cops/sickpup and other BCFers involved in a firey battle with them?

200 miles is a bit far for a dyno run. You'll have to count me out. Sorry. Laughing

Conditional that I can get the TZR finished Whistle

I wouldn't mind doing 2 runs either, restricted and de-restricted.

Anywhere but DK and I probably would be. :/

Also, a proper setup would take far too long if you're going to have several bikes there.

Its not a Dyno / Tuning Day.

Its just a power run. So you get your bike on the rollers. They print off its power / torque onto a piece of paper for you. Job done.
