Any particular reason for doing this? I managed to get a replacement bottom yoke (complete with stem) from a breakers, in decent nick for £15... just keep a look out on flea-bay!

I usually find engineering shops are a good place to get things like that done, especially when it comes to the custom stuff,

Or if you know anyone that has a press, loads of garages have them for doing bearings.

Reason is to make 42mm USD forks fit my bike, hence custom stem. The one that came with the forks is too skinny and too short, and I cant replace it with the original i took off because the top yoke is different to the original.

Will just have to trawl engineering shops for quotes I guess, Thanks anyways Wink

Where abouts in the country are you?

I know that Pretech will do it for you, but you're best off taking the bits you want to them so they have a good idea of what work you want.

https://www.pretech.co.uk/

They are in Reading in Berkshire.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
