Celebrity biker will help promote motorcycle safety.


World superbike champion Carl Fogarty is helping to launch a new training initiative Motorcycle Training Matters on Saturday, March 21.

And the four-times world champ, nicknamed Foggy, will join road safety officers, firefighters, police motorcyclists, riding instructors and local dealers at Dunstable Fire Station for the day, which will run from 10am until 4pm.

I went, what a waste of time.

It was rather like a little village fete, you know the type. Trestle tables, a few stalls with crap deals and the police trying to be nice by letting you sit on their cruddy beemers (which have notes stuck on them saying 'make sure the fuel tank lid is closed' ) H&S obviously rears it's ugly head in the police force as well as in the real world!!!!

And my missus recons Foggy is a ugly bugger who should get a new jacket.
