Yes they are road legal.

However they will be toast in less than 1800 miles in expect.

Just had some of these fitted to the 675, so far they feel very good, £220 front and rear fitted.

Every one at work was impressed with the (lack of) tread.

I'll probably regret getting them shortly when I have to replace them after doing so few miles!

Edit - I'm also going to hate them in the wet....most likely....anyone used these in the wet...are they as bad as they look like they are going to be?

No, though do take it easy anyway. I find they have more grip than a lot of touring-style tyres in the wet because they are actually damn grippy in the first place. The tread mostly stops aquaplaning, which is actually quite unlikely on a bike due to the small contact patch.
I have crashed on supercorsas under hard braking in wet conditions on track, but I was going at a pretty nifty pace at the time and had been for sometime before that without problems - keeping up with a few more nervous people on wets!

You're are very brave man! Laughing
I'm paranoid taking my Dragon Supercorsa's in the cold/wet, neary lost the front once, but that was about -6/7C Rolling Eyes

I have a supercorsa front that was used daily through the snowy spell a while ago. Better grip than the old rear that has lots of tread.

you're better off with plain Pirelli Diablos. I did three trackdays on the last set I had and they didn't go 'off' at all unlike the Corsas and Supercorsas I've had previously. They lasted a long time (over 4000 miles) on a Buell which isn't easy on tyres. They have a slightly less pointy profile than Supercorsas and I prefer them. I think they give more confidence on the road than Supercorsas, mainly because of the nicer profile. They sound ideal for what you want!

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Remember as this is on a DRZ-SM, he's going to have 33hp or so, so will have less chance to abuse tyres.
Supercorsas can suffer from heat-cycles it seems, but unless you're riding like a complete-nutcase everywhere all the time, it should be less of an issue than on bigger bikes.

Do check what tyres you can fit in there too - I think the standard tyre for the SM is a 140?

Had Supercorsas on the 848 when i bought it they lasted nearly 4k miles before being too squared to use.

Replaced them with Corsa III's which seem to work better on the road in all condition, get warmer quicker etc and no issues with reduced grip thus far.

£220 fitted is a damn good price, the tyres alone should run to about £260 Thumbs Up
