Hey,
I've been feeling very depressed now for about 4 months, in fact since I moved out and into a flat with my GF.
She's great, never says ought wrong, so i know it isn't her. Its been very tight with money lately, me paying for most things (She's been out of work) , and having nothing left at the end of the month. So basically working to live. No social life, no money for bike, nothing.
The job I do is dead end and pays pittance which just adds to my misery. Redundancy is becoming a real prospect for me due to a new system being implemented and I have very little prospects of getting another. Just makes me feel like a failure.
Just feel completely fed up. I've always suffered with depression but I've never felt this low. Tonight I just couldn't take much more of feeling like crap and walked out and went for a drive, couldn't go far cos i had little fuel and no cash to fill it up!
So yer just thought i'd share. Makes me feel a tiny bit better getting out how I feel. Worse thing is i know she won't put up with me like this forever so i could possibly lose everything. End up with no job, no money and no GF.
Thanks for reading,
Shaun. |

Hey
I suggest you turn the situation around. .
OK, so you cant dramatically change it whilst you await you partner to get a job. . .
But you can, turn it into a challenge.
Sit down and look at everything you spend money on. .
Devise as many little ideas for saving money
Keep a record, see how much you saved at the end of each week/month
It can be satisfying
Also . . a big cuddle with your girlfriend. |

I think its surprising how a bit of exercise can lift your mood.
It cant fix the other things, but it does make you feel better.
Particularly good, is hard exercise that makes you sweat for an hour.
Come to think of it, I'm sure there is something that the girlfriend could help out with there ____________________ colin1 is officially faster than god |
