Anyone owned a Suzuki TL1000R?

Ive Been offered the above from a workmate, he has owned it from new and has FSSH but hasnt been used in the last 3 years. It has 18000 miles from new, no mods except Art cans and is in immaculate condition, he wants £1800 for it. Oh and its on a 2000 X plate. Is this a fair price?

What are they like to live with? Comfortable to ride for a 6 footer? And are they reliable? What should I look for with it being stood for so long?

Friend of mine is nearly 7 feet tall and was comfortable on his.

There are several threads about them on here already - mostly favourable.
I had one too and it was a fun thing to use.
Not expensive to run with lowish insurance surprisingly.
