Got a full set of brand new unused OEM front brake pads left over from when I had my CBR600F-Y. They should fit any CBR600F4, as I don't think the calipers and pads changed. So, that'd be from '99 through to '06. Part number 06455-MBW-E12.

Think that they'll also fit an '05~'06, but not sure.

To clarify, it's two pairs of front pads. One pair has been opened, but not used. This is why they're not going on eBay, who wants to buy second hand brake pads? Laughing I wouldn't!

All I want is a few quid to cover packaging and postage . Preferably a long-term member, and not a newbie that hasn't contributed anything to BCF.

Not put this is the for sale section, as these are being given away, not sold for profit. Although I wouldn't refuse a few extra beer tokens Shifty

Smile

I take it they're not the 2 piston sliding calipers are they? If they are I'd love them, my bike has the same calipers as some of the older cbr600s, if not, don't worry!

Cheers.

Nah, they're from the newer model with the 4-piston calipers.

Think they'll fit a VTR1000 / CB1300 / CB400SF too going on what I've found on the net.

Changed the thread name, as it seems a lot of Hondas use the same calipers and pads.

Only saw that thread after I'd made this one and they'd gone. Laughing

There was a reason for my self-bump, and it may or may not become apparent depending on circumstances. Idea

Suppose I've already let the cat out of the bag. Doh!

I received a payment, it's just that the funds never cleared, and the payment failed. I've contacted janner, and will give him the benefit of the doubt that it's a genuine mistake somewhere along the line. No reason to believe otherwise as of yet. Merely wanted to preserve earlier posts to make sure there would be no foul play if things didn't work out.

I'm sure janner will be true to his word. Thumbs Up

EDIT: He's got back to me and sent it through again. Thumbs Up

No pitchforks needed today. Laughing

Cheers for allowing me the benefit of the doubt. No idea why it said payment cancelled.

Im a bit old fashioned about keeping my word. I promised you the money for them and the money you should have, if it means I have to ride it over to you then so be it.

Anyway - hope it goes through this time Thumbs Up

It's a CBR600F, it can't possibly fail an MOT anyway. Mr. Green

Although must admit I'll giggle a little if it fails now I've gone and said that. Thumbs Up Laughing
