Thanks Jefr0, I also wanted a red/white one, but this red/black one came up for a very good price & it was fairly local to me too
Only 2 previous owners & 16k miles from new . Not too bad for a 17yr old bike
She looks well dated though when parked up against the newer styled bikes

Yes Lonewolf, that is a MR2 . No hairdresser jokes now . The straightners were thrown out the window on the drive home when I bought it. Bit of a downgrade for me though as I had a GT4 previous to the MR2 (hense the username).

I've had mine a couple years now, great bike, will never get rid of it. I was lucky to get mine too, 25k miles, 2 previous owners, mint, but had to do a 400 mile round trip to get it

Still they are quick bikes though for their age. It's weird how you went from a gt4 to a mr2. My mate went from a mr2 to a gt4 (spent silly amounts on it)

Whats wrong with MR2s? I love the look of them and you can fit a 3 litre V6 in the back with ease if you really wanted to.

Nowt wrong with MR2's. Just slower that the GT4 & a bit of a girly car IMHO. But I like it as it still has the Toyota reliability I'm looking for & it looks better than most other cars from the mid 90's

I was thinking of getting the tubby MR2, but with the budget I had set myself, it would have been a dog. There would have been no point in me selling the GT4 & then spending all the money from that sale on a tubby MR2, plus the insurance companies wanted £500 fully comp for the MR2 tubby & I refused to pay that amount of money on insurance when I was only paying £210 fully comp, like for like & all mods declared on the GT4.

So the N/A MR2 it was. At least I got the colour I wanted. Too many black, red & white ones about

Thats a good looking CBR600F.
After passing my full test, thats the bike I have decided to go for, as it is reviewed as one of the best 600cc bikes out there.
