Are they as good as Snapon and do they come with lifetime warranty? If so do you have to purchase them from a Snapon rep to get the warranty?

Cheers.

Pretty sure bluepoint are a peticular lot of the snap on tools, Same quality, Same warrenty,

Ive heard of people purchasing snap on tools from other people, and some people get success going to a snap on dealer and getting a replacement without buying it from that dealer some dont, because there like resellers, if you had a original receipt i expect a better chance of exchange etc.

Yeah they are sort of like Snap-On's budget range so to speak. I've got a lot of Bluepoint tools (as my mothers new husband is a snap-on dealer).. they're ok and i'm sure they have the same warranty but as stated i think you'd have more success having the receipt for them.

I've never had a problem with them though, as long as you don't needlessly abuse them I don't think you can go wrong.. much cheaper than 'proper' snap-on gear, too (which, imo, is over-priced).

You can give a snap-on tool to any dealer without a reciept and they wll repair/replace it if it hasn't been abused, however they wont replace a punch i broke the first time i used it as it's been abused?i knocked a roll pin out with it(which is what it's for) and it bent,i tried to straighten it and it snapped, hows that abuse?

I use bluepoint air tools and they're pretty good however if used daily the hand tools aren't as good they wear out a lot quicker and don't have the same grip as snap-on,but if they're only used for home servicing or bike maintenance they're pretty good,i'd recomend the 3/8 general service set to get you started has quite a lot in it it's about £100,and they don't have the lifetime warranty either not sure if they even have 12month

No - Some and No are your answers mate

No the quality is not as good as Snap on - why would it be as they cost much less

Some of the tools have a lifetime warranty, spanners etc, but most only have 12 months - you would need to check with the dealer.

You don't have to buy from a Snap on dealer but it will make life easier in the event of a claim.

Speak to Ray Ball - he is the dealer for Stoke north - he will put you right.

For what it's worth - I would buy Snap on for anything I use on a regular basis - spanners, sockets, rachets etc. Anything I will only use occasionally I buy in whatever comes at the right money from either Ebay or the local tool suppliers.

What are you looking to buy ?
