i have a ZZ1100 and when ever i back off the throttle it back fires , what should i look for on the bike so i can sort this out ?

Kids... 'kin hilarious when you backfire near them! Laughing

Other than that, it's usually excess unburnt fuel in the exhaust system that causes it. Not sure on a solution though...

hi
have you got a 4 into one fitted as these do this as the mess up the fueling on zzr11 unless its been on the dyno.

if the bike is standard you may have an air leak or the pair valves have been blocked off or removed.

when you change the plugs check them for one that,s white or looks like its overheating as this will be the cylinder thats got an air leak if there is one Thumbs Up

A leaking exhaust would be my first guess. If you draw in air at the fron tof an exhaust it allows any unburnt hydrocarbons to ignite in the exhaust. It's what causes popping on the over-run.

rite ok then i will cheak the plugs when i do it an all so cheak the exhaust aswell
