Yes i would take the piston out of the barrel, You may have to replace it.

Check to make shure that your rings are ok.
Lets try taping a bit of tow stroke on the piston,
Make a high oil mixture and put itin your tank.

Is this the first time you've tried to start it in a while? Yes i would take the piston out the barrel and see if that does anything.

hi thanks to all who wrote back on the last problem just to update you i was actually told the engine was seized before i actually looked at it so i have got got it back to my garage and started to strip it and i have found that the only thing stopping it from turning over was that the chain was all angged up around the drive sprocket, so i freeed it all off and found that there is nuthing actually wrong with the engine its free as a bird but look in to why its not starting and there is no spark so i am guessing thats why, the problem is now where do i go from here i have had tinker with a few things to try and get it to spark but no good so what do i need to check and how if any one can help please write back many thanks ash
