If I don't slip clutch to above 2k when pulling away from standstill it will severely bog down until it pulls it self out of 2k.

Would this more likely be Float height or pilot jet?

Kind regards

If it's just started happening then it might be worth just taking them apart and giving them an ultra good clean out, especially the slow circuit.

Mine was a pig also, under 3k i had to dip the clutch to get it to go. I cleaned the carbs 3 times and it was still the same - the pilot screws were turned out 2.5 turns (base is 1.5 turns), I put them back to base settings and done a quick tune by ear and is now fine.

Still having probs at full throttle @ high revs though.. The joys of carbs. Laughing

Anyway, aye, I'd clean them out good and proper before messing with adjustments.. you can check the float heights when they're off for cleaning though, just to be sure.

They've been fully refurbished recently. Always been like it since rejetted just haven't got round to sorting it out.

Think you could be right then, pilot screws out of adjustment? I'm no carb expert but that's what I would lean more towards - Probably wrong Laughing
