I got to the hill at about 11ish, unfortunatley wali had already been up for 2 practice runs and crashed on the second, resulting in putting him and the bike out of the heats.

I sprint her. I spent the day sorting out the crash damage, the needle had been jolted out of its location and was puring juice into the motor like an alcy drinks vodka, the ignition timing had shifted as well. The bike must have taken a hard knock when I gobbed it  .
Thursday I will put my sprint bars on and some road tyres and set her up for Hoghton Towers Sprint on the 26th. The bruising should have gone by then.

God that hill brings back memories - i think i went there in 2005 or something very similar!
Its an awsome event, truely hillarious!
There used to be a "lip" towards the top of the hill, and when you hit it at full chat, you couldnt help but catch huge amounts of air which almost carried you over the finish line!
I also remember the trip back down the side of the hill was a bit risky...
It has been a while since i did it, so for all i know it could be a completely different hill now!

I was just about ask how the fuck is it possible to crash going up what appears to be a simple grassy hill. Cue picture of bike and rider being launched through the air.
