and is it any good? I've been looking at them for a week or so now but can't make up my mind which type to go for. I've heard the most of them don't last more than 1 or 2 goes which makes the old double hammer method seem like the best course of action.

I must have done 5 or 6 with my Hein Gericke one and it's still intact.

+1 for Whale, I have one that cost about £60 and have done 5/6 chains with it so far. Very solid and can't see it breaking anytime soon.
