hi was wondering has any body been to toms farm in wales was wondering if its any good for newcomer .

Providing you take it easy and don't attempt anything stupid (I read on another forum that the 'widow maker' has recently got even worse, so those that have made it before mostly won't attempt it now.)
I think it's a bit calmer now, but when we went it was quite anarchic in the evening - plenty of drunken groups with massive fires etc.
Don't expect amenities like toilets etc (though I did see a some portaloos on the way out, dunno if you can actually use them though.)
A lot of the site is very bumpy, making it a bit irritating to go any decent speed.

Worth a play, but not for everyone. If you're a serious-newbie, probably worth going with someone with a bit more experience. Definitely don't go alone, for safety and convenience etc.

i,ll keep looking in the birmingham area might see if i can get on enduroland just to get the bike out for a run.thanks for reply
