Hi guys.

I was just wondering if anyone out here does any stunting?

I have a tatty CG 125 and a mint condition 2001 ZZR 600.

I was thinking of cleaning up the CG and selling it. Then putting that money towards a bike that I can stunt.

It'd probably be a 400cc bike as I am only 18 and insurance will be expensive. I was thinking a crash damaged ZXR400. Making it naked and adding some engine bars.

I know my ZZR 600 is capable of some stunting, but I cannot afford to crash it. I want something that will not be damaged much if I drop it and something I don't really care about.

I have done a couple of wheelies on my ZZR 600 but have set them down due to being worried of crashing it.

I do know what the balancing point feels like though because I can wheelie a mountain bike for maybe 10 seconds or so.

I basically want a bike I can take to work, college and also have a mess about in a car park and push it to it's limits on a twisty road without worrying I'll crash my bike.

What do you guys think will be my best choice? I don't want to spend a lot of money.

If you really want to get into stunting you could do with a 6 really, i'd say stunt the CG first, learn back brake control because lets face it you're hardly gonna do much damage if you drop the CG, its all about the back brake that's where a lot of people go wrong, so once u've mastered a slow controled on the back brake wheelie, move up to maybe a crashed CBR600 and wack an engine cage on it, at least when you get on that you'll have the back brake instinct, rather than going for the clutch when your just about to flip, like most people do. Laughing

You're probably right.

I might get rid of my ZZR and get a cheaper 600.

My CG is no good. The Clutch is slipping and does not have enough power to get the front wheel up to the balancing point. I know people say "anything can be wheelied" but my CG isn't up to it.

I know what you mean by grabbing the clutch. I want to do that as that's my rear brake on my bicycle.
