Hey,

Are NIG Motorcycle insurance any good?
They've given me the cheapest quote of £284 inc. Legal Fees for a TPO on my 600, this was through the RAC brokers.
Any bad experiences with them?
This cover also includes me being able to ride other peoples bikes on a TPO basis. Smile

Just insured with them this morning incidently.

Moved from hasting. Monthly cost down from £45 to £22 now!
I went through H&R for them and gotta admit H&R are awesome.

Very responsive, uk call centres and don't fuck around. Oh and cheap!

i was insured with these guys last year - again through h and r.

i had a crash that was a third partys fault (i.e. im claiming off his insurance through my company) and as a result ive lost all my no claims until the outcome of the case has been resolved.

Ill get them back once they determine liability, but its been 6 months so far and ive had to reinsure my new bike without my no claims.

not a bad company overall but i just wish theyd hurry up and sort my no claims out too.

(they were pretty quick paying out for the bike though - was sorted in about 3 or 4 weeks)

I had a Fully Comp non fault claim with NIG, the Engineer came out and offered a decent settlement within a week. Again it was brokered through H&R who I've re-insured with for years.

Big composite insurer with a decent reputation and a decent motorcycle insurance product. Owned by RBS.

had a non fault car accident (FC). They paid out within 2 weeks for the car. Very good legal cover as well. Although I had to re insure as a fault accident, this was the 3rd parties fault as they had not admitted liability at that point.
