I'm MXing all day tomorrow in St Albans.

Should I be looking at thermals and layers or not? How hot work is it? And how much does it suck when you get wet?

Is this a proper motocross track?

Erm, regardless, presuming you're trying at least a little bit, you should provide plenty enough heat from your own exertion.

Wet generally isn't a big issue doing motocross. It's a bit annoying in enduros, but you don't tend to notice it too much. I've regularly had it to the point I don't need to ring my socks out to get a decent stream of muddy water when taking them off!

It's one of these experience day things. Claire bought it for me for Christmas.

It's a bit of tuition in the morning, then out on some tour in the afternoon. I don't expect it'll be tooo in depth. But I do expect to get wet.

I'll take a selection of clothing methinks!

Ah, they'll most probably provide the kit you need. Just take some basic tracksuit style trousers maybe (may not be required) and a t-shirt, presuming they do have all the stuff.

Yeah they do provide the stuff, just wondering what I wanna put underneath it.

Gonna wear my own boots, lid and gloves though. Just so the other people on the course think I'm a twat.
