I've done ~£300 ... on stuff that I in no way NEEDED (not even massively sure I want!) ... Embarassed ... worse still is that the stuff I really wanted I got out bid on!! Rolling Eyes

Idle thumbs and eBay are a bad combination!!! Shocked

I wonder who has spent the most??? Anyone bought a new bike?? Thinking

Hi

I spent £565 on one thing, plus a bit more on a few odds and sods.

All the best

Keith

My reckoning is someone has bought a new bike and spent a few grand? I think you and I are possibly fairly small hitters?!!? Confused

I haven't been on ebay for a while, mostly because I have no money.

So I spent £0, do I win anything?

I think the eBay rules are fairly straightforward ... you have to have BID to win .... so I think logically the same rules apply in this thread!! Laughing

It always gets me on ebay when they say you have "won" the item. You have offered the most in a set time. Today I won a loaf of bread and a pint of milk from the corner shop.

I had that exact same thought a couple of days ago.

"Woopee, I've 'won' an item on ebay at full retail price!"

It's not really an auction-site anymore, is it, it's just another shitty retail store charging top-dollar for stuff that's frequently cheaper elsewhere. I was looking for a new tent (Wolflake 7), every single listing on ebay was the full retail price of £999. I got mine elsewhere for £750.

Fuck off ebay. Middle Finger Laughing
