Honda CR 125 > 250 Conversion + Supermotard Kit

Anyone ever done one?

Got a 1999 CR125 stripped down in my garage, but the engine is a gonner.

Planning on putting a 250cc lump in it, and obviously changing the CDI, airbox, carb, reed valve, exhaust etc to suit.

Also planning on fitting the 02+ rear subframe, seat and airbox to take the later style plastics, and also changing the tank to accept the later style rad scoops.

Anyone ever done this work before? Was everything a direct, or near enough direct fit? I know Honda did some pretty big changes the the frames at the end of 1999

Bike will be getting converted to supermoto and running practice rounds at Preston Trax and other events and track days round the country i.e Rowrah

Anyone ever fit the CRF wheels on a CR? Spacers are no problem as i can get them made by someone local i know
