My boss and me are doing my clutch paltes. I have ordered the gasket and plates, but he forgot to tell me bout the oil filter. I'm googling it, and checked on the website https://www.apriliagenuineparts.co.uk/ and https://www.pjme.co.uk/ but dunno what to look for. All I can find is fuel filter. Don't suppose this is what he means? I would call my boss but I'm annoyed a lil because I was looking forward to getting it fixed and rideable again.

Thanks

Hi

Maybe your boss doesn't know, or maybe he is winding you up. Have you been asked to pick up a "long weight", "short stand", "rainbow coloured paint" or a "glass hammer" recently?

All the best

Keith

made me laugh though....
there is no oil filter on the rs125.
as on most if not all 2 strokes, the gearbox oil is what the clutch is sitting in.
the 2 stroke oil is pumped into the fuel mix & not to be confused with the gerarbox oil,lol..
remove the plug & it it comes out.
remove the casing & remove the clutch basket/casette.
change the plates, giving them a coating of gear oil (i always use lite gear oil, rock oil stuff)
shove the basket back in.
& refill the g/box oil.
no filter.
just replace the gasket.
cheers,
GAZ
